Fall Favorites: Wedding Edition

As the leaves turn and the temperature begins to fall, we’ve started to reflect on some of our fall favorites from this wedding season. From rich burgundy tones to pumpkin accents, we have to say that we are definitely here for the trends this season and here’s why:

The Colors

It’s no secret that the most inviting aspect of fall weddings revolves highly around the rustic color palette. Whether it’s the decor or the bridal party attire, small touches of burgundy, navy, olive and soft browns is brings that fall feeling to life throughout your wedding ceremony.

Pumpkin Decor

Nothing screams fall favorites like the incorporation of pumpkins into the decor. This season we’ve seen pumpkins used as centerpieces, card slots, or even just placed around the venue as accent pieces. They’ve even been painted to match the wedding color palette, too. The more creative the better!

Rustic Venues

As the fall wedding season rolls around, many couples tend to choose venues to match the outdoor-sy vibe of the season. Lucky for us, in the northeast we have an abundance of rustic barns and outdoor venues to perfectly cater to this demand. Many couples lean towards a scenic venue for their fall wedding, and boy, do they not disappoint!

Apple Cider Bar

Out of all of the current fall wedding trends, this one has to win. As the forecast calls for cool temperatures, help warm your guests up with a nice glass of warm apple cider! Serve on its own or paired with some other sweet treats - either way your guests will be thankful for this extra little touch!

Seasonal Bouquet

We think it’s safe to say that the fall foliage is at its peak for wedding season. As the season changes, as does nature’s color palettes, allowing deep burgundy, burnt oranges, and rich browns to disperse through the foliage. Throughout fall wedding seasons we see an overflow of lilies, dahlias, and sunflowers and we’re definitely not complaining.

At the end of the day, it’s not about the dress or the flowers, but about the loved shared between two people. But hey, it doesn’t hurt to get a little excited about hay bale seating or pumpkin centerpieces, right?
