Updates At Got Strings

Hey there, friend! What a year it’s been. While 2020 has surely been interesting (to say the least), we’re feeling a new sense of appreciation for our industry, our couples and our musicians for navigating through these strange times with us.

The good news: There will always be love to celebrate.

The best news: We’ve been able to adapt and find new ways to move forward that prioritizes both love and safety.

Here are some of our latest COVID Precautions that we’ve implemented into our gigs….

Masks On

Just like everyone else, part of our musician attire now features a face mask for protection. Since we’re a string ensemble, we really only need our hands and our instruments to perform! And while you may not be able to see these smiles from under our masks, we’re totally grinning from ear to ear at the magic surrounding us.

Social Distancing

While our masks definitely offer a layer of protection, separating ourselves from the guests and maintaining that six-feet boundary is a priority in our updated precautions. If we could be greeting everyone with a warm hug we so would, but for now we’ll be waving from a distance!

Hand Sanitizing

Keys. Wallet. Phone. Hand sanitizer. These are the new must-haves of 2020 (and don’t forget the mask, either). That’s why we don’t leave for a gig without making sure we’re equipped to sanitize throughout it. As for this year’s party favors, mini hand sanitizers definitely take the cake.

Put simply, 2020 has been one heck of a ride. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried and we’ve definitely adapted. However, as long as there are weddings, there will always be wedding ensembles. And for that, we are grateful.

To all of our future brides and grooms: we are still here to make your magical moments that much better, and we’ll continue doing it with a big ol’ smile on our faces.

Cheers!
